How the money was used

Of the roughly $164 million raised from selling shares, $65.5 million went into Bitcoin and $98.5 million into its cash reserve. Separately, Strategy repurchased $208.2 million of its STRC preferred stock in the same week.

Buying above the market price

Strategy paid an average of $80,846 this week, but Bitcoin traded around $77,700 on Nov. 2, so this batch is slightly underwater for now. Its overall average cost of $75,451 is still below the market price, so its total holdings remain in profit.
