Abu Dhabi Royal Invests $500M in WLFI Linked to Trump

Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed al-Nahyan reportedly invests $500 million in WLFI, securing a significant stake tied to Trump connections.

New revelations indicate that Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed al-Nahyan, a member of the Abu Dhabi royal family, or associates associated with him, have committed to a substantial investment of $500 million into World Liberty Financial (WLFI) as of January 2025. This investment would afford them approximately a 49% ownership stake in the firm.

Currently, WLFI, which serves as the governance token for World Liberty Financial, has seen a notable shift as it has decoupled from the price movements of Bitcoin. Despite the overall market remaining relatively stagnant, WLFI has experienced an uptick of around 8% today.
