Oct. 20 (CandyPulse) — Paying for coffee with crypto has always come with an extra step: a special card, a top-up or a manual swap. Visa and crypto payments firm Mesh want to cut that step out. The two companies announced on Oct. 19 that Mesh will connect crypto and stablecoin wallets directly to Visa's global network.
Key takeaways
The idea is simple. You pay from your wallet, and Mesh does the heavy lifting in the background. It handles the funding and conversion at the moment of payment, while the merchant receives a normal payment through Visa's existing rails.

Crypto cards already exist, but they usually mean opening another account and moving funds around. Plugging wallets straight into the world's biggest card network could make spending crypto feel as normal as tapping a bank card. It's also a strong signal for stablecoins, which are fast becoming the everyday money of crypto.
The deal follows Mesh's September integration with Bybit Pay, which lets users spend funds held in their exchange accounts.
